Registering New Student

Welcome to South Windsor Public Schools! All children who reside legally in South Windsor and are between the ages of 5 and 18 are eligible to attend South Windsor Public Schools.  Questions should be directed to the Registrar's Office at (860) 291-1244 or email registration@swindsor.k12.ct.us.

To begin the registration process, follow the steps below.

Arrow All students entering South Windsor Public Schools for the first time

Incoming Kindergarten students (must be a South Windsor resident, age 5 by January 1, 2019)

Students re-enrolling (returning from a magnet school, out of state, or an extended absence of 20 days or more)

South Windsor students attending magnet, technical or Vo-Ag schools

Students receiving home instruction
Arrow
Students accepted into the Pre-School Outreach (POP) program (pre-approval from Special Services is required)

Complete the Pre-Enrollment Student Information Form
  •  For 2017-2018 (current) school year, click here

Schedule a Registration Appointment with registrar at central registration office (see above for contact information and appointment days and times)

Gather the necessary Age, ID and Proof of Residency documents - listed here

Attend registration appointment - bring all documents

Complete online New Student Registration record through Parent Portal
(access Parent Portal here using the secure username and password 
provided at registration appointment)
